Voter Registration renewal certificates were mailed on December 3rd to every registered voter in Fayette County.  If you are a registered voter, and have not received your new certificate by the end of December, please contact the Elections Administration office at 979-968-6563.

According to the Texas Election Code, voter registration certificates cannot be forwarded.   The term on the front of the certificate of “RETURN SERVICE REQUESTED” is for the Post Office only; it does not mean that the certificate needs to be returned.

If there is a correction needed on your certificate, please write the correction on the back of the new certificate, sign your name, verifying who is requesting the corrections, and mail it to the return address on the certificate. Your requested corrections will be made and an updated certificate will be mailed to you.
