The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is a member of the Fayette County Crimestoppers, which includes civilian board members and representatives from local law enforcement agencies. The three municipal police agencies in Fayette County are also members of this organization.

WHAT IS CRIMESTOPPERS?

Crimestoppers is a non-profit organization dedicatecd to solving previously unsolved crimes and the apprehension of criminals; as well as fugitives who have outstanding warrants in Fayette County, Texas.

Crimestoppers performs this mission with an emphasis on providing complete anonymity to the person providing information. CRIMESTOPPERS DOES NOT ASK FOR THE IDENTITY OF THE PERSON CONTACTING THEM.

Fayette County Crimestoppers has been operating since 1981. Since that time, they have paid out over $7,000 in reward money.

Crimestoppers will pay a REWARD of up to $2,500 for information that leads police to the arrest and grand jury indictment of anyone involved in any felony crime in Fayette County. Some rewards are paid for information leading to arrest in Class A and Class B misdemeanor crimes also.
